This plan protects your motor vehicle (car, motorcycle etc.) against various risks like fire, theft, accidents, natural disasters, and even vandalism.
Two types are offered:
- Comprehensive Motor Micro Insurance: This provides the most extensive coverage, including damage to your vehicle, third-party property and bodily injury caused by your vehicle, and theft. (This is the most complete motor insurance option)
- Third-Party Motor Insurance: This plan is mandatory by law in Nepal. It covers your legal liability for any damage to third-party property or bodily injury caused by your vehicle. (This is a basic but essential option)
Cost: The cost of motor micro insurance is determined by a separate regulation set by the Nepal Insurance Authority.
